What is an overdraft fee?

A type of overdraft fee, known as an Overdraft Paid Fee, is a charge that’s applied to your account when a transaction that we paid, or covered for you, and brings your available balance negative for consumer accounts.

  • An Overdraft Paid Fee of $36.00 is charged for each item we pay on your behalf that is $5.01 or more in amount and the negative available balance in your account is $50.01 or more.
  • There is no Overdraft Paid Fee when the item we pay on your behalf is $5.00 or less.
  • There are no Overdraft Paid Fees if your Available Balance is negative by $50.00 or less.
  • Overdraft Paid fees are limited to a daily maximum of four per day, no matter how many items we pay on your behalf.
