Recipient notification is dependent upon which method was used to send money:
- Direct to account (routing and account number) - An automated notification will not be sent to the recipient. The recipient will need to verify receipt by monitoring transactions in that account.
- Email address - A notification will be sent immediately to the recipient's email address from the recipient's financial institution with instructions on how to claim the money sent.
- Mobile phone number - A text message will be sent immediately to the recipient's mobile phone number from the recipient's financial institution with instructions on how to claim the money sent.
Note: If the recipient does not receive an email or text notification as intended, they may want to check their cellular carrier or email spam folder.
