The best time to withdraw funds is when the term of your CD has ended (i.e., matured). By waiting until the CD has matured, you can avoid fees and penalties.

If your CD has reached maturity, you can close it from your digital banking. The funds will be deposited into your U.S. Bank checking or savings account. See, How to close a mature Certificate of Deposit (CD).
