New American flag image adds a second patriotic option to the range of debit card design choices
U.S. Bank checking clients have a fresh choice to personalize the look of their debit cards – a new design featuring a bright blue-sky backdrop and one of the country’s most recognizable symbols of freedom and liberty, the American Flag.
Earlier this year, U.S. Bank introduced the Sunrise Salute debit card design to honor members of the military community.
The latest debit card designs were developed in coordination with the U.S. Bank Proud to Serve business resource group – an organization of more than 5,000 U.S. Bank employees dedicated to supporting veterans, reservists, military spouses and their family members across the company and across the country.
“It was an honor for Proud to Serve to be a part of developing two card offerings that give patriotic choices to U.S. Bank customers,” said Adam Naryka, Military and Veteran Segment manager for U.S. Bank.
Mamta Naik, U.S. Bank debit product manager, said, “Whether clients choose the design to display on their physical debit card or in their mobile wallet, the American flag is one additional way U.S. Bank clients can personalize their banking experience.”
The Sunrise Salute and American Flag debit cards join a line-up of more than a dozen designer and affinity card offerings that give U.S. Bank checking account customers opportunities to let their personality shine. Beyond patriotic choices, customers can choose from a range of additional designs – from puppies to tie dye to an eco-friendly turtle or a celebration of Pride.
