What to know about your credit card transition

Union Bank is joining U.S. Bank and our goal is to make your transition as seamless as possible. U.S. Bank offers a variety of both personal and business credit cards, including options for cash back, flexible rewards, low interest and credit building.

Upcoming business and personal credit card transition dates

Late May/early June: A new U.S. Bank Credit Card will be mailed to all Union Bank Credit Card account holders. 

June 22: Union Bank Credit Cards and the associated credit card account number are deactivated.

June 28: You can view your past Union Bank transaction history and your current U.S. Bank Credit Card balance in mobile and online banking.

June 29: Your Union Bank Credit Card rewards balance is transferred to your new U.S. Bank Credit Card.

What you’ll need to do now.

Use your card as usual.

There’s nothing you need to do now – just keep using your Union Bank Credit Card as usual until the new U.S. Bank Credit Card arrives.

Update your contact info.

Make sure your contact information is up to date with Union Bank prior to your credit card account transition in June 2023. Check your email and postal mail for additional information about your new credit card account in the coming months.

We do not determine the category codes that merchants choose and reserve the right to determine which purchases qualify for additional rewards.
