More information
- Credit balance refunds are issued in the form of a check. The credit can't be applied to another credit card, checking, or savings account.
- The refund check is made out to the primary account owner and mailed to the address on file. The expiration date is printed on the front. The amount may vary if transactions, interest, and/or fees post before the refund is sent.
- We will automatically send a refund when a credit balance appears on three consecutive statements and the refunded amount is equal to or greater than $1. This happens even if there is transaction activity. If the account has a credit balance less than $1 after three consecutive statements, the balance will be adjusted to $0.
- If we find a payment is what caused the overage on the account, more research may be needed. You’ll receive either a refund check or a letter explaining the outcome within 10 to 14 business days.
