We strongly recommend you notify your recipient to expect a payment notification from U.S. Bank via email or text. Recipients must register their mobile phone number or email address with Zelle®. If the mobile number or email address isn't registered within 14 calendar days, the payment expires, and funds are returned to your account.
Online banking steps:
To get started, log into online banking and follow these steps:
- Select Send money at the top of the page, choose Send money with Zelle and select Send money.
- Choose a recipient from the list.
- The recipient's information will indicate if they're enrolled with Zelle.
- If the recipient isn't listed, select Add new recipient and follow the steps to add their information.
- Select the recipient's email address or phone number.
- Enter how much you want to send.
- If you'd like to change the account funds are send from, use the drop-down menu to change it.
- If you'd like to change the send date, or set up a recurring payment, select Edit frequency & date.
- Select Review, and verify all information is correct on the next page.
- When ready, select Send. You'll receive confirmation the funds are sent; select Done to close the page.
U.S. Bank Mobile App steps:
For the best mobile banking experience, we recommend logging in or downloading the U.S. Bank Mobile App.
- Select Send money at the bottom of the page, then choose Send money.
- Choose a recipient from the list.
- The recipient's information will indicate if they're enrolled with Zelle.
- If the recipient isn't listed, select Add new recipient and follow the steps to add their information.
- Select the recipient's email address or phone number.
- Enter how much you want to send.
- If you'd like to change the account funds are sent from, select the account to change it.
- If you'd like to change the send date, select the calendar icon, and choose the desired day.
- If you'd like to set up a recurring payment, select the toggle button to the right of Repeat this payment.
- Select Review, and verify all information is correct on the next page.
- When ready, select Send. You'll receive confirmation the funds are sent; select Done to close the page.
