Whenever you need to change the payment account a bill is paid from, digital banking is available. Please be aware, this won't change the payment account for pending transactions.
Online banking steps:
For the best online experience, we recommend logging in at usbank.com.
- Select Bill payments located at the top of the page, then choose Pay bills & U.S. Bank accounts.
- Locate the bill you'd like to manage, then find the account it's paid from.
- Select the drop-down menu to choose the desired payment account, then select Done.
U.S. Bank Mobile App steps:
For the best mobile banking experience, we recommend logging in or downloading the U.S. Bank Mobile App.
- Select Pay bills & transfer at the bottom of the dashboard.
- Choose Pay a bill, then select the bill you'd like to manage.
- Select the balance displayed. On the next screen select the Pay from field.
- Choose the desired payment account, then select Save.
