How do I request an escrow refund?

Getting your escrow refund is easier than ever. When the refund posts, you have five days to request an electronic deposit. Once that time frame has passed, the refund will be sent following our physical check issuing process (see also step 2.b. below).

Simply log into online or mobile banking and follow these steps:

  1. Select notification below the mortgage account then choose get refund.
  2. Choose how you'd like your refund, then select Continue.
    1. Choose Bank account deposits to have it directly deposited into your checking account. This can take up to three business days. Request made before 8 p.m. CT are processed the same day.
      • Choose the deposit account from the drop-down menu then select Continue.
        OR
      • Add an additional account, if the one you want isn’t listed:
        1. Select the account type.
        2. Provide routing and account numbers.
        3. Select Add account.
    2. Choose Mail a check to have it sent to the address in file, then select Submit. This can take up to 30 calendar days to receive.
  3. Review the details. If correct, select Confirm & submit.
